I have accumulated more than two decades of experience in senior leadership roles within the non-profit sector (local, provincial, and national); leading several non-profits as the Executive Director and serving on the Board of Directors of non-profit organizations and registered charities, all with governance boards. I have developed expertise in policy development and review, board governance and structure, strategic planning, human resources and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, an advanced post-graduate diploma in business and international management and a Masters of Arts in International Leadership. In addition to my professional experience, I have further refined my skills through courses, workshops and readings. I believe in the importance and benefits of life-long learning.

Recently, I have been putting my experience, skills and education into serving as Interim Executive Director at organizations undergoing change and supporting groups as a consultant with Now What Facilitation.
