Complaints Management in Sport
Complaints are a reality in sport, but unclear processes and reactive responses can often create more conflict rather than resolution. This workshop helps leaders, boards, coaches, and staff better understand how to manage complaints in a way that is fair, practical, and relationship-focused. Participants will explore early intervention strategies, communication approaches, and decision-making tools that support healthier organizational cultures.
Conflict Management in Sport
Conflict is inevitable in sport, but it does not have to damage relationships or teams. This workshop explores why conflict escalates, how people respond differently under stress, and practical strategies for navigating challenging situations with confidence. Participants will leave with tools to support communication, collaboration, and healthier team dynamics.
Governance Training in Sport

Working with Neuro–Diverse Sport Participants

Participants will explore communication strategies, environmental considerations, and ways to reduce barriers to participation.
Giving and Receiving Appreciative Feedback and Effective Communication in Sport
Feedback can build trust, confidence, and growth when it is delivered effectively. Building Diversity in Sport
Creating diverse and inclusive sport environments requires more than policies and statements. This workshop invites participants to reflect on barriers to participation, organizational culture, and the ways inclusion is experienced within sport settings. Through practical discussion and reflection, participants will explore strategies to foster belonging, equity, and meaningful participation for all.

Client reviews
The workshop served as a valuable reminder that we are a team and can rely on each other for support when needed. It highlighted the importance of recognizing that everyone has their own unique styles and approaches to managing conflict. Moving forward, I’ll make a conscious effort to avoid assumptions and take a moment to consider how others might be feeling. I also feel more confident in applying the circle of inference and addressing difficult conversations, thanks to the practical script Nadia provided during the session.
Team Building through Conflict Management Workshop
Volleyball BC was excited to work with Now What Facilitation to hold a "This is How We Roll: Complaints Management for Sport" session for our clubs. Nadia was very helpful in tailoring the sessions to an online format which allowed participants from across the province. Each session was clearly delivered and accompanied by a guide so we could easily follow along. We really enjoyed getting to practice communication and interview skills with each other so that we can better serve our community. Thank you, Now What Facilitation!

De-escalation and Intervention Training Workshop
I was discussing with a fellow board member and we both recounted how easy the process felt (far from how previous board meetings went over this discussion). We attributed it to yours and Andy's support. He really helped us distinguish roles and set boundaries that have offloaded a lot of the stress we carried around this topic over the past several months.
