With more than two decades of experience, I've dedicated my career to dispute resolution and collaborative practice. Over the years, I've successfully led numerous Collaborative Decision Making Meetings, involving a diverse group of professionals such as lawyers, doctors, counsellors, social workers, police officers, psychologists, and families. These meetings have tackled a wide spectrum of critical issues, including mental health, divorce, access, addiction, and end-of-life planning.
My most recent role involves serving as the Team Leader for the Collaborative Practice Team at the Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society. In this capacity, I oversee child protection mediations, offer clinical supervision to facilitators, and facilitate planning discussions that encompass extended families, parents, and Nations. I also continue to facilitate high-conflict conferences and provide mentorship to facilitators and social workers, helping them navigate challenging conversations.
Prior to this, I worked with families and professionals in the realm of Child Welfare in both Quebec and British Columbia, as well as in various non-profit agencies.
