Hello! I am Olivia Osamusali, a Bachelor of Social Work holder and current Master of Social Work candidate at the University of Waterloo. I recently joined Now What Facilitation as an intern. With over 6 years dedicated to mental health practice, focusing on anti-racism, anti-oppression, and social justice, I have developed a client-centered and holistic approach to social work. My 3+ years of experience in clinical, rehabilitation, and counselling settings have honed my ability to individualize client care, addressing personal obstacles and oppressions.

As I work toward my Master’s in Clinical Social Work, my goal is to become a licensed psychotherapist, with a passion for both individual and group mental health counselling. Additionally, my decade-long involvement in competitive athletics, including over a year as a professional basketball player, has equipped me with valuable skills in communication, leadership, and teamwork. These experiences have enhanced my understanding of human behaviour in diverse environments.
